As the festive season approaches, we want to take a moment to extend a warm welcome to our new clients who have recently joined us and share a couple of industry updates along with our Christmas opening hours.
Industry News
The Courts unfortunately still continue to experience backlogs, but with the recent acceptance of being able to email Courts with applications (as well as posted letters) – it has had some effect in obtaining swifter acknowledgements and avoids paperwork being lost.
There is a new requirement for Company Directors and PSC to have registered their ID with Companies House, effective from 18/11/25, and we hope to see a fall in the number of phoenix/bogus organisations.

If you can review your workflow list and provide any outstanding instructions before Christmas, that would be appreciated. The sooner we receive your instructions and new cases, the higher your collection rates will be.
Christmas Opening Hours
- Monday 22 December – Open all day
- Tuesday 23 December – Open all day
- Wednesday 24th to Friday 26th December – Closed
- Monday 29th December – Open all day
- Tuesday 30th December – Open all day
- Wednesday 31st December 2025 – Closed
- Thursday 1st January – Closed
- Friday 2nd January 2026 – Open all day
The last posting day for 2nd class is 17th December and 18th December for first class.
The Courts closure dates are December 24th to 2nd January. Therefore, any claim, judgment, and warrant requests submitted on 23rd December 2025 will not be processed until 3rd January 2026.
