New Payment Options for Debtors
December 09

LRC have introduced a new dedicated payment area specifically for debtors on our website. They can now go online and either make a payment real time, make a promise to pay or make an arrangement to pay. They can also call our automated phone line and make a payment real time by credit or debit card. Obviously both these methods are available to the debtor 24/7, 365 days a year.

By providing them with more options to pay and making it easier and more convenient for them, we have already seen a positive increase in debtor payments. Combining this with our new automated service we believe will only continue to give positive results.

LRC launch new collection strategies
December 09

We are excited to have recently launched our new debt collection strategies. By investing in new technology and making our collection processes more targeted, we believe it will only optimise your collections.

Our new automated service which we have included into our strategies, delivers a tailored message which prompts debtors to respond and gives them a real time options for replying there and then. This new service will enhance our service in the following ways;

  • We'll be able to contact debtors outside of working hours.
  • It'll make outbound calls, leaving our debt advisors free to pursue more difficult debtors.
  • With increased contact, it gives us greater opportunities to collect more information on debtors, enabling us to build up a debtor profile and segment for future collection activity.
  • As the process is automated, debtors feel less embarrassed by the call and are more likely to respond positively.

Please contact us for more information or if you have any questions.

Nottingham based Legal Recoveries & Collections Ltd, one of the UK's leading debt recovery agencies, are proud to have won the IPP (Institute of Payroll Professionals) Innovation Award in recognition of their outstanding online debt recovery system. The award was presented to directors Rachel Rowbotham and Andrew Newsome at the IPP awards ceremony in Edinburgh on November 7th and Andrew says, "I'm incredibly pleased and proud that LRC has won this award. It's always gratifying to receive recognition, but to win this award is particularly pleasing, firstly as we were nominated by a client, and secondly as the award is made by an independent professional body that has recognised both the service provided by our team, and the systems which we have developed and enhanced over a number of years. It really is a great 'pat on the back' to everyone at LRC."

Tim Kelsey of Buckinghamshire County Council who nominated LRC stated, "This product has revolutionised the administration and recovery of salary and pension overpayments." This is the second time that LRC's online system has been recognized and won an award for its technical innovation.
