For where an LBA proves unsuccessful; and you’d rather not take immediate Court action against your debtor, LRC offer a Collections Service, designed to obtain payment or negotiate instalment arrangements with your debtor.

This process usually spans a period of 14 – 28 days, with LRC contacting your debtor by a variety of methods including mobile phone, email, SMS texts and post; to try and arrange a mutually acceptable method of paying the debt. Its also a good way to gather further information about your debtor in order to make a decision on the next appropriate course of action.

Our staff are highly skilled and sensitive to the circumstances of the business or individual; and we manage all cases in the most appropriate and professional manner. We are fully conversant with the Data Protection Act and our collectors are statutory and regulatory compliant at all times.

If the collections stage proves unsuccessful, your next course of action might be to issue Court proceedings (or to decide if you wish the case to be closed), but our experienced Account Managers will liaise with you to devise the next course of action that best suits your needs and is realistic to the payment ability of the debtor.

As with all the services offered by LRC, any work we undertake and results we achieve, can be viewed by you on a case by case basis, anytime, anywhere, via our Online Debt Recovery System. This service is free of charge to all our clients - select the ‘Online System’ link in the menu to learn more.

Finally, we operate on a no win no fee basis for the Pre-Legal LBA, so if we do fail to recover any monies at this early stage, you wont pay any costs*

* excluding the initial ‘New Case Assignment Fee’
