Entry of Judgment

If you have chosen that we request the entry of Judgment, the debtor has 28 days to pay the outstanding amount in full.

If the debtor fails to pay in 28 days then a CCJ (County Court Judgment) will be registered against them. A CCJ will stay with your debtor for 6 years and may have a negative effect on any credit applications they make in this time such as credit card, mortgage or loan applications. As a result the threat of a CCJ may be enough to secure payment. Any costs that are incurred with the entry of judgment are also recoverable from your debtor.

Don't forget!

If the debtor agrees to pay by a series of instalments, we can manage these repeated payments for you, saving you valuable time.

Should your debtor still not pay, then we can start enforcement proceedings for you.
