Should Pre-Legal activities prove unsuccessful, LRC can instigate Court proceedings against your debtor. There is no need for you to complete any paperwork or attend Court; we will serve the debtor with a Claim Form (the new term for a summons) on your behalf and do all necessary work to see this through to Judgment.

We will also include a claim for Court fees and fixed costs; and where applicable, a claim for interest. Providing the debtor pays in full, the cost to you will not only be nothing, with interest you could recover more than the original debt!

LRC are also able to undertake a range of Enforcement activities, including the use of Bailiffs,High Court Enforcement Officers(formerly known as Sheriffs) and door to door collection services. Other Enforcements include Attachment Of Earnings Orders, Charging Orders, insolvency proceedings and even the ability to order the debtor to court for questioning his financial status.

You can monitor each stage of the Pre-Legal and Legal process via our Online Debt Recovery System. This is a free of charge service that allows you to securely view your individual cases via any standard internet connection. You can also use this system to instruct other cases to us, ask your Account Manager a question, or even run debt management reports for your own reporting requirements. Again, this system is free of charge to all our clients.
